Bicycle Routes on Long Island
There are 28 shared-use paths and trailways listed on this map, created in partnership between NY DOT Region 10 and 511 RideShare (NYS DOT). There are currently more on Long Island with several exciting projects in the works.
1.5 miles. A scenic shared use path loops around Valley Stream Pond
6.8 miles, paved. Connects Bethpage State Park to the Massapequa Preserve at Merrick Road. Along half of its route the shared use path parallels the Bethpage State Parkway and the other half of the route is through the peaceful Massapequa Preserve following a flowing stream and a series of ponds.
3 miles, paved. Circular loop between the Dairy Barn and Marshall Field Estate with spectacular viewpoint of Long Island Sound.

4.3 miles, paved. Scenic and hilly bike route with views of Shinnecock Bay that provides accees to Southampton Village and the SUNY Stony Brook-Southampton campus.
6.3 miles, paved. Circular loop in the heart of Nassau County along Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, Earle Ovington Boulevard and Quentin Roosevelt Boulevard. The Mitchel Field Pedestrian Path & Bikeway connects to Nassau Community College, Hofstra University, the Nassau Coliseum, Museum Row, Eisenhower Park, hotels, corporate centers and the Hempstead Turnpike Shared Use Path..
